Robert has kept the books for small businesses across Fountain Hills and the East Valley for more than fifteen years. He came to bookkeeping from IT, and it shows in how he handles data.
Our story
How CR Bookkeeping started
Robert did not plan on becoming a bookkeeper. He was running a business and had hired an accountant to handle the business and personal taxes. Their process was to have him print everything onto paper so they could retype it into their tax software. There was no way to hand over a large set of data, which meant he was paying a professional rate for data entry.
So he bought QuickBooks Pro Desktop and did the work himself instead. That was more than fifteen years ago. What started as a way to stop wasting money turned into the thing he does for a living, and he has been keeping books for other small business owners ever since.
The software background never went away. Robert comes from IT, which is why he is comfortable pulling data out of whatever system a business already runs and building a report around it, rather than telling an owner their numbers will not fit the template.
