Reconciled books and a report in your inbox every month, on a date you can plan around.
Questions
Bookkeeping questions we get asked
How often will I hear from you?
Once a month with your statements, plus whenever Robert needs to ask about a transaction he cannot identify. You can call or email any time in between. There is no ticket system between you and him.
Do you file my taxes as well?
No. Bookkeeping keeps the records accurate through the year so that your CPA has a clean file to prepare the return from. If you do not have a CPA yet, Robert can tell you what to look for in one.
What if my books are years behind?
That is common and it is fixable. Catch-up work is quoted separately from the monthly service, so you can see what the cleanup costs before deciding. Once the file is current, the monthly rate takes over.
Do I have to switch accounting software?
No. Robert works in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, so if you are already in either one, nothing changes. If you are on something else, he will tell you honestly whether switching is worth it or not.
What do you need from me to get started?
Read-only access to your bank and credit card feeds, your existing accounting file if you have one, and about twenty minutes of your time to answer questions about how the business actually operates.
Service area
Bookkeeping across the East Valley
Robert focuses on seven cities around Fountain Hills, but the work is not limited to them. Most of it happens remotely, and he can meet on site when a file needs a conversation in person.
