Why choose us

Why Scottsdale businesses choose CR Bookkeeping

Scottsdale packs an unusual number of small businesses into a small area. The Airpark alone is one of the largest employment centers in Arizona, and around it sit thousands of owner-operated firms: aesthetics practices, brokerages, agencies, builders and restaurants, most of them under twenty people.

The bookkeeping pattern that shows up again and again in Scottsdale is the owner with more than one entity. A holding company, an operating company, a property LLC, sometimes a second brand. Each one needs its own clean set of books, and the intercompany transfers between them are exactly where files go wrong. Getting that structure recorded properly is usually the difference between a straightforward tax return and an expensive one.

CR Bookkeeping Services is run by Robert Guararra from Fountain Hills, from Old Town north through the Airpark and up into the resort corridor along Scottsdale Road. The work happens inside your accounting file, so you get a bookkeeper who knows the Scottsdale market without paying for anyone to sit in traffic.

Questions

Scottsdale questions we get asked

Can you handle a Scottsdale business with several entities?

Yes, and it is common here. Each entity gets its own file and its own reconciliation, and the transfers between them are recorded so the relationship is visible rather than buried. Pricing reflects the number of entities, so you will see it broken out in the quote.

What counts as a custom report?

Anything that needs data from outside your accounting file, or a cut of the numbers the standard reports do not give you. Profitability by job, by location, by product line, by technician. If the data exists, it can usually be reported on.

My other software is old. Can you still use it?

Usually. Most systems can export something, and Robert has an IT background and works comfortably in Excel and Access. Send a sample export and he will tell you straight whether it can be done.

Do you actually serve Scottsdale, or just list it?

Robert works from Fountain Hills and takes on clients across Scottsdale and the rest of the East Valley. Almost all of the work happens inside your accounting file, so being down the road matters less than being reachable, and he answers his own phone.
